Merman Discovered & Captured?

During a recent boating trip to the middle of the Indian Ocean, we stumbled across something quite shocking. We were fishing for a rare species of Wrasse off the coast of one of the Islands in the Maldives. During the trip we kept hearing strange calls from around the hull of the ship at night, strange knocking on the side of the boat but we decided to dismiss it as just creaks in the boat as it rode the waves. We found out that those noises came from something other than the old grunts and groans of an aged fishing boat.

We all went below deck for the evening after a long day of measuring water levels and plotting our next days course to have a drink in the communal quarters. I was the first one to spot something, off in the middle of one of the viewing bubbles at the bottom of the ship. It was a man, a mans head poking up through. His eyes met mine for a second, I was completely stunned and could not move. He then seemed to look up throughout the cabin, his eyes rested on a fish tank in the corner and he smiled. I was transfixed but Tommy ran to get a camera to take a picture of this man as surely no one would believe this. Tommy took a quick picture of the merman, but the flash must of frightened him, because he sped off and knocked himself out on the hull of the boat. Luckily we were able to capture him and are now keeping him in an undisclosed location in side a fish tank. This is the only photo that will be published until the unveiling, which is also undisclosed at this time.
